Answer: I liked that they were cats. Also, it told me how to make a friendship bracelet.

A: I didn't like how the other kitties made her feel left out.

Q: Did you learn anything?

A: You can always recover from your sadness. Like even if you’re sad, you can find a way to make it better.

Q: Did this book remind you of anything you’ve read?

S: The Three Little Kittens

(why? Because it has cats?)

Because they’re cats, but they’re also kids like me.

Q: What makes this book different than other books?

A: It helps you learn how to make friends and not just be sad that you don’t have any.

The Gift That I Can Give

A: It was about how we‘re all made for something even if it’s really little like cheering on your friends.

A: It's the gift that you can give.

Q: That's just the title of the book.

A: But that's what its about too. Like you can give people things that aren't just toys and stuff. Something you can do for them that only you can do.

Q: So how do you figure out what that is?

A: As you grow and as you live, like it says in the book.

Q: Did you learn anything?

A: It seems like lots of kids like me wonder what they’re supposed to be good at but it’s like it’s okay not to know because you will figure it out as you go.

Change the World Before Bedtime

A: It was international (sic, inspirational) and made me want to go do things and be nicer.

Q: What kind of friend do you think would like the book?

A: All of them.

Q: Do you think they were trying to say anything through the book? A: They were trying to say you can be better and like make kids feel better and help the world.
